VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea Appointed to Vienna University Teaching Faculty

This week, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna appointed violinist, VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea to its faculty, effective from October 1st, 2020

Ioana, 27, is a graduate of the Leipzig, Rostock, and Hannover Universities of Music, and is former major prize winner at the Brahms, Postacchini, Kreisler, Indianapolis, Michael Hill, and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions.

“One of my biggest dreams in life has just become real now. After a long process, I was selected and appointed as violin professor at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna," Ioana said.

"I am enormously enthusiastic to start this new chapter of my life and at the same time profoundly grateful and blessed for this unique opportunity to share what I have achieved in music to the new generations," she said.
