VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea Appointed to Madrid Academy Teaching Faculty
The Musical Arts Madrid Academy has announced the appointment of violinist, VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea to its teaching faculty
The newly-launched Musical Arts Madrid Academy, in Madrid, Spain has this week announced the appointment of violinist, VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea to its teaching faculty - effective from the commencement of the 2020-2021 concert season.
Ioana will serve as a Visiting Professor - alongside Artistic Director Josu de Solaun and Professors Alban Gerhardt and Leticia Moreno.
A graduate of the Leipzig, Rostock and Hannover Universities of Music, Ioana is a former major prize winner at the Brahms, Postacchini, Kreisler, Indianapolis, Michael Hill and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions.
"The Musical Arts Madrid offers inspiring and unique opportunities for young musicians from all over the world to study and play chamber music with members of the faculty ..." Ioana has this week said.
"Teaching has always been of great importance in my life and I am very happy for this fantastic opportunity," she has said.
