Princeton University Concerts has announced the appointment of Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel as its new Artist-in-Residence
Princeton University Concerts has today announced the appointment of Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel as its new Artist-in-Residence for the 2018-19 season.
The 37 year old Los Angels Philharmonic music director will visit the New Jersey campus three times throughout the season - with his role including curating and participating in a series of concerts and events.
The 2018-19 season will includes performances by cellist Steven Isserlis, violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja, pianist Marc-André Hamelin, mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, mandolinist Avi Avital, the Takács and Ébène String Quartets, The Australian Chamber Orchestra - and the genre-defying Bobby McFerrin.
