Today is luminary Indian-born conductor Zubin Mehta’s 88th birthday!

Widely respected as one of the eminent conductors of all time, Maestro Mehta previously served as Music Director of the Montreal Symphony, LA Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Vienna State Opera and the Bavarian State Opera - and currently serves as Music Director of the Israel Philharmonic and as Conductor Emeritus of the LA Philharmonic.
