Winners Announced for 2021 Astral Artists' National Auditions

Seven artists have been invited to join Astral’s prestigious program

The 2021 Winners are:

• Arkai Duo from the United States

• Clarinetist Amer Hasan from the United States

• Pianist Hilda Huang from the United States

• Soprano Helen Zhibing Huang from China

• Saxophonists Valentin Kovalev from Russia

• Violinist Julian Rhee from the United States

• Guitarist Hao Yang from China

As part of the Astral Artists roster, the 2021 winners will receive customized career development mentorship, marketing, performance opportunities, and community engagement experience.

Astral’s newest artists will perform in Philadelphia at the 2021 Astral National Auditions Winners Concert, which is planned to take place at Stotesbury Mansion on Wednesday, October 20. Further details and ticket information will be forthcoming later this summer.

Previous audition winners include violinists Judith Ingolfsson and Soovin Kim – plus VC Artists Nikki & Timothy Chooi and Benjamin Beilman.
