OUT NOW | Violinist Anne Akiko Meyers's New 'Fantasia' Album [LISTEN]

Avie Records has today announced the release of American concert violinist Anne Akiko Meyers’s new album "Fantasia".

Recorded with conductor Kristjan Järvi and the Philharmonia Orchestra, the new disc features Szymanowski’s 1st Violin Concerto, Ravel’s ‘Tzigane’ - and the premiere recording of the late Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara’s last major work, ‘Fantasia’.

"This music is incredibly poetic, beautiful, and completely inspires me,” Anne has told The Violin Channel.

“It is dream-like with exotic, sensuous melodies, riotous color and awesome virtuosity,” she has said.
