VC LIVE | The Muse and the Musicale — A Tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg from Friends in the Arts

Premiered by the Washington Performing Arts, the concert was held as a tribute to the late Supreme Court Justice

Co-hosted by NPR’s Nina Totenberg and Washington Performing Arts president emeritus Douglas Wheeler, the stream includes moving remembrances and appreciations from opera stars Renée Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, and Alyson Cambridge; instrumentalists Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman, Rachel Barton Pine, and Alisa Weilerstein; composer/vocalist Patrice Michaels (Ginsburg's daughter-in-law); and jazz and Broadway icons John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey.

March 15 would have been Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s 88th birthday.
