Tune in on January 20 at 5 PM (ET) to witness the final round of this year's competition for the Alexis Gregory Vendome Prize in Piano

We're coming to you LIVE from the Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York for the finals of this year's competition for the Alexis Gregory Vendome Prize in partnership with the Mannes School of Music. Established with a grant from the Alexis Gregory Foundation, the prize aims to seek out talented pianists ready to undertake a professional career as a performing artist.

The semi-finals will take place on January 17-18, and the finals, which will be live-streamed here on The Violin Channel, will take place on January 20. All rounds are held at the Alvin Johnson / J.M. Kaplan Hall in New York, with free admission. You can register to attend in person, here.

“We are delighted that we have been able to conclude a collaboration between the foundation and The Mannes School of Music to jointly produce The Vendome Prize for at least the next five years," said Peter Gregory, President of the Alexis Gregory Foundation. "The Vendome Prize, first conceived by Alexis Gregory of New York and Paris, is a unique and very well respected showcase for young pianists all over the globe. The prize, started over 25 years ago, has featured some of the world’s finest young pianists."
