A current student of 2020 jury member Silvia Marcovici at the Graz University of Music, Vikram is a former major prize winner at the Postacchini, George Enescu and Valsesia Musica International Violin Competitions.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and the New England Conservatory where she studied with Joseph Silverstein, Pamela Frank and Miriam Fried, and current Artistic Diploma student of 2020 jury member Ilya Kaler at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Jun is a former prize winner at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition.

A graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory where he studied with Eduard Grach, and current student of Ben Sayevich at the Park University International Center of Music, Igor is a former major prize winner at the Astana and Russian International Violin Competitions and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Strings Competition.

A high school graduate of the Music Institute of Chicago Academy where he studied with Almita and Roland Vamos and current undergraduate student of Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory, Julian is a former major prize winner at the Johansen and Klein International String Competitions.

Open to candidates of any nationality, aged between 16 and 32, the 1st prize winner will receive US $30,000, significant career development, publicity and management support – plus a number of important performance opportunities.

The 2020 jury comprises: David Cerone (Chairman), Andrés Cárdenes, Ilya Kaler, Sung-Ju Lee, Silvia Marcovici, Gerardo Ribeiro, Barry Shiffman and Kathleen Winkler.

In accordance with the competition’s scoring policy, any jury member who has given more than three lessons to any one candidate in the preceding 12 months to the competition will be recused from the voting process for that competitor.

In this event, an average score of the remaining jurors will be applied to the candidate's total.

The competition will release all jurors’ scores following the completion of the event.

The Violin Channel, as the competition’s official broadcast partner, will be providing streaming coverage direct from Boca Raton.
