We’re coming to you LIVE from Brunswick, Maine, for a special concert presented by the Bowdoin International Music Festival, featuring the Pacifica Quartet.

Formed in 1994, the Pacifica Quartet - comprising of violinists Simin Ganatra, Austin Hartman, violist Mark Holloway, and cellist Brandon Vamos - have perviously won chamber music’s top competitions, including the 1998 Naumburg Chamber Music Award. In 2002, the ensemble was honored with Chamber Music America’s Cleveland Quartet Award and the appointment to Lincoln Center’s The Bowers Program (formerly CMS Two), and in 2006 was awarded a prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant.

The festival was founded in 1964 and engages exceptional students and enthusiastic audiences through world-class education and performances. Each summer, 250 students from more than 20 countries and nearly every state attend the festival to study with distinguished faculty and guest artists.
