This program features Sebastian Currier’s “Night Time” coupled with Tchaikovsky’s “Souvenir de Florence”
We’re coming to you from the 2021 Bowdoin International Music Festival, in Brunswick, Maine, for a special concert event entitled “Currier & Tchaikovsky.”
The performance features violinists Mikhail Kopelman and Renée Jolles, violists Che-Yen Chen and Masumi Per Rostad, cellists Steven Doane and Jeffrey Zeigler, and harpist June Han.
Among the works in the program is Sebastian Currier's "Night Time." A previous faculty member at The Juilliard School and Columbia University, Currier was also a Grawemeyer Award winner, Guggenheim Fellow, and recipient of the Berlin Prize.
