Two Composers To Share Korea's 2019 Isang Yun Composition Prize

Swiss composer Heinz Holliger and Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho have been announced as joint-recipients of the 2019 Isang Yun International Composition Prize

The Isang Yun Peace Foundation, in Seoul, has this week announced Swiss composer Heinz Holliger and Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho as joint-recipients of the 2019 Isang Yun International Composition Prize.

Presented annually since 2007 in honour of the late South Korean-born composer, Yun Isang, and as an initiative to bring positive music exchange between the East and the West, each of this year's recipient will receive US $30,000.
