THROWBACK THURSDAY | VC Artist Zlatomir Fung — 2016 Enescu Cello Competition 1st Prize

The then 17-year-old American cellist, VC Artist Zlatomir Fung, performing with Alexandre Bloch and the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra

Zlatomir is the first American in four decades and the youngest musician ever to win First Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition Cello Division.

In 2019 Zlatomir was signed to Kirshbaum Associates Management in New York City for worldwide representation.

15-year-old Jaemin Han was this week awarded 1st prize in the 2020 George Enescu International Competition.
