Missing 1709 David Tecchler Violin Returned in London [WOOHOO]

A missing 1709 David Tecchler violin, taken from a London train on the 22nd of October this year, has been returned to its owner

It has been announced this week that a missing 1709 David Tecchler violin, taken from a London train on the 22nd of October this year, has been returned to its owner.

“My violin is home safe and sound ..." owner, British violinist Stephen Morris, has this week said.

It's understood a man contacted the distraught owner via Twitter and agreed to anonymously hand over the instrument in a supermarket car park.

Recent sales have indicated the violin to be valued at approximately £250,000.

“It couldn’t have ended in a happier way ... thanks for the overwhelming support,” Stephen has this week said.
