17 year old American violinist Simone Porter is establishing herself as a young concert artist of tremendous potential – praised for her impassioned energy, musical integrity and vibrant sound.
A student of renowned pedagogue Robert Lipsett, at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, Simone made her international debut aged 13 with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – and has since made coveted solo appearances with the New York Philharmonic, American Youth Symphony, Nashville Symphony and the Utah Symphony.

She currently performs on a 1745 Guadagnini violin – on generous loan from The Mandell Collection of Southern California.
Simone’s upcoming engagements include a debut performance on September 4th of the Barber Concerto with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, at the Hollywood Bowl – under conductor Ludovic Morlot.
