Mexico City Philharmonic Announces New Music Director

The Mexico City Philharmonic has today announced Japanese-born American violinist and conductor, Scott Yoo as their new Music Director.
A student of Roman Totenberg, Albert Markov, Paul Kantor and Dorothy Delay. He is a former 1st prize winner at the Indianapolis International Violin Competition - and served previously as Assistant Concertmaster and Associate Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
Scott, 44, more recently served as the Music Director of the Mozaic Festival of San Luis Obispo and the Colorado College Music Festival.
