Former Santa Rosa Symphony Concertmaster Eugene Shepherd has died - aged 96

American violinist and teacher Eugene Shepherd has died, from surgery complications after a fall - aged 96.

A graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University, the Juilliard School and the University of Southern California, Mr Shepherd served as Concertmaster of the Santa Rosa Symphony Orchestra for 33 years.
