Primo Artists Signs Conductor James Gaffigan for Exclusive Worldwide Management

The U.S. based agency expands its representation of James Gaffigan from North and South American Management to Worldwide Management

Since 2020, Primo Artists has looked after American conductor James Gaffigan's North and South American Management. The agency then took over management of his Social Media in 2021, and his publicity in 2022, with the launch of their Public Relations roster in May of that year.

It has been announced today that Primo Artists will expand Gaffigan's representation to exclusive Worldwide Management, effective immediately.

On Primo Artists' roster, Gaffigan is in the company of artists such as Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell, Seong-Jin Cho, Christian Reif, and Nicola Benedetti, among others.

Gaffigan currently serves as the General Music Director of the Komische Oper Berlin, and the Music Director of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, home to the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana.

Additionally, he is Music Director of the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra and previously served as Principal Guest Conductor of both the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera, as well as Chief Conductor of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.

A regular at the Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Opéra National de Paris, Gaffigan returns to Santa Fe Opera in 2025 for a production of Die Walküre following the company’s first Wagner production of Tristan und Isolde which he led in 2022.
