Orchid Classics Records announced the release of British violinist Callum Smart's new album: "Transatlantic".
''This album is a musical selection from the past to present day of the two countries I have lived in, America and England," Callum this week told The Violin Channel.
"The programme was born out of the COVID-19 quarantine, and offered me a chance for both outward discovery and inward reflection. It combines music that’s part of my heritage and that I grew up listening to, as well as music I discovered anew but already felt some intrinsic connection to," he said.
''I hope listeners will feel a connection between two countries that although are very different, through the music and my personal story form a universal bond, full of love and understanding.''
