Erato Records has announced the release of French cellist Gautier Capuçon's new album: 'Frank-Chopin'

Erato Records has announced the release of French cellist Gautier Capuçon's new album: 'Frank-Chopin'.

Recorded with pianist Yuja Wang, the disc features Franck's Cello Sonata in A Major, Chopin's 'Introduction and Polonaise Brillante' and Cello Sonata in G Minor - and Piazzólla's 'Le Grand Tango.'

''I am so excited about this recording with my dearest friend Yuja Wang ... we have been thinking and talking about this first album together for many years and finally it is out ..." Gautier has told The Violin Channel.

"Yuja is an incredible, exceptional pianist, artist, musician and friend - and even if we have already been playing together for a few years and have performed quite a number of concerts, we are just at the beginning of our musical journey together," he has said.
