Minnesota Police are searching for a man who assaulted a violin store assistant with pepper spray - before stealing four valuable violins
Minnesota Police are this week searching for a man who entered the Fein Violins shop, in St Paul, Minnesota on Saturday the 21st of September, 2019 and assaulted a sales assistant with pepper spray - before stealing four valuable violins.
Surveillance video at the time shows a man approximately 6 feet tall, in a black jacket and red flannel shirt, speaking with the 17-year-old female employee shortly before the alleged robbery.
It's understood the man pretended to be interested in buying a violin before spraying an aerosol can of pepper spray in the shop assistant's face.
The man stole a 1911 French 'Vatelor' violin - and 3 'Andrew Fein' contemporary violins in the attack - he did not take any bows or cases.
