With COVID-19 restrictions relaxing in England, Wigmore Hall will be once again welcoming public audiences on May 17
During a year-long period of live-streaming performances, the hall has offered up to 200 online concerts with over 300 artists.
May 17 will mark the return of in-person performances with a 25-concert music festival running until June 3.
Artists to be featured include vocalists Louise Alder, Alice Coote, Roderick Williams and Mary Bevan; the Doric and Heath Quartets; pianists Mitsuko Uchida, Angela Hewitt, and Steven Hough; and more.
On May 31, marking Wigmore Hall's 120th Anniversary, there will be a celebratory concert featuring the Associate Ensemble, Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective, led by violinist Elena Urioste and pianist Tom Poster.
Tickets will be available via a ballot offered to Friends of Wigmore Hall. Patrons may join this subscription for £50. The capacity for seating will be decided in the coming weeks.
