Applications Open for American Orchestral Musicians' Community Engagement Awards

The League of American Orchestras has announced they are currently accepting applications and nominations for the 2019 Ford Musician Awards

The League of American Orchestras has this week announced they are currently accepting applications and nominations for the 2019 Ford Musician Awards - in recognition of extraordinary American professional orchestral musicians who are actively devoting time, effort and resources to educational and community engagement projects outside of the concert hall.

Presented annually since 2016, five winning musicians will each receive a US $2,500 grant to support professional development and community initiatives in their local area.

Applications and nominations to be received by the 4^th of March, 2019.
