Israel Philharmonic Announces New Principal Second Violinist

The Israel Philharmonic has announced Icelandic violinist Ari Þór Vilhjálmsson as its new Principal Second Violinist

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra has this week announced Icelandic violinist Ari Þór Vilhjálmsson as its new Principal Second Violinist - effective from March 2019.

A graduate of the Reykjavík College of Music, University of Illinois and Northwestern University, Ari currently serves as Principal Second Violinist with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra - and previously served as a section member of the Iceland Symphony.
