Hungarian conductor and composer Frederic Balazs has passed away – aged 98

Hungarian conductor and composer Frederic Balazs has passed away – aged 98.

Mr Balazs was appointed Concertmaster of the Budapest Symphony aged just 17 - and later following his immigration to the United States founded and served as long term Music Director of the Wichita Falls Symphony and Tucson Symphony.

Our condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues and students.
