American Violin Virtuoso Hilary Hahn Pregnant With First Child

American violin virtuoso Hilary Hahn has today announced, via social media, she and her husband are expecting their first child.

“My husband and I are expecting our first baby mid-summer!" the 35 year old violinist has updated on her fanpage, "... I am usually very private about my personal life ... but this is such a different kind of news that I wanted to share it directly."

"My husband and I are thrilled and feel fortunate to experience this major life event,” she has said.
