Eminent German Operatic Conductor Heinz Fricke Has Passed Away

East-German-born operatic conductor Heinz Fricke has died - aged 88.
He served long term Principal Conducting positions with the Berlin State Opera, the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Washington National Opera and the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra.
He held over 180 operas in his repertoire.
Our condolences are with Maestro Fricke's family, friends, colleagues and students.
