Finalists Announced at Italy’s 2021 “Il Piccolo Violino Magico” Competition
The final round of this year's competition, with conductor Giancarlo Guarino and the FVG Orchestra, will be held on Sunday, July 11 — and streamed LIVE here on The Violin Channel at 10.00am (EDT)
The four finalists have been announced at the 2021 “Il Piccolo Violino Magico” International Competition for Young Violinists — in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy.
Organized by the Accademia d’archi Arrigoni, the annual competition is open to international violinists aged 9 to 13 years old.
The 2021 competition finalists are:

The 2021 first prize winner will receive €5,000, an instrument made by contemporary Italian violin maker Fabio Piagentini, and a number of important concert engagements.

This year's jury comprises Pavel Vernikov (Jury Chair), Federico Guglielmo, Ting Jia, Mintcho Mintchev, Christiane LeBlanc, Julia Purgina, and Alexandre Snitkovski.
All 13 candidates, who were not selected for this year's final round, will also join the jury panel.
Previous major prize winners include Edward Walton, Daniil Bulayev, Murata Natsuho, Shihan Wang and VC Rising Stars Fiona and Hina Khuong-Huu.
