Dutch cellist Anner Bylsma has passed away - aged 85

Dutch cellist Anner Bylsma has passed away - aged 85.

A student of Carel van Leeuwen Boomkamp at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Mr Bylsma was a former 1st prize winner at the Pablo Casals International Cello Competition - and served from 1962 until 1968 as Principal Cellist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
