Berlin Phil Concertmaster Daishin Kashimoto Signed to IMG Artists Management
Violinist Daishin Kashimoto will join the artistic management roster of IMG Artists, London
It has been announced today that Japanese-born violinist Daishin Kashimoto will join the artist management roster of IMG Artists, London - for worldwide management representation.
The 37 year old, who will be managed by Global Artist Management Consultant Bridget Canniere, currently serves as 1st Concertmaster with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
“He is an artist of a calibre rarely found, and it was without any question that I asked Daishin if I might work with him …” Canniere has told The Violin Channel.

A graduate of the Juilliard School, Lübeck Musikhochschule and Freiburg Musikhochschule, where he studied with Naoko Tanaka, Zakhar Bron and Rainer Kussmaul, Daishin is a former 1st prize winner at the Menuhin, Cologne, Fritz Kreisler and Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud International Violin Competitions.
His recent solo performances include engagements with the Berlin Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Orchestre Nationale de France, Bavarian and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestras, Dresden Staatskapelle, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Czech Philharmonic as well as the NHK Symphony.
