France's Rouen Philharmonic Announces New 26-Year-Old Music Director
The Rouen Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the appointment of British conductor Ben Glassberg as its new Music Director
The Rouen Philharmonic Orchestra, in Normandy, France has this week announced the appointment of 26-year-old British conductor Ben Glassberg as its new Music Director – effective from the commencement of the 2020-2021 season.
A graduate of the University of Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music and former 1st prize winner at the Besancon Young Conductors' Competition, Benjamin currently serves as Music Director of the Glyndebourne Opera and as Guest Conductor with the Orchestre National de Lyon.
He has recently led performances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
