Applications Open to University of Delaware's Graduate String Program
Prospective graduate students looking to receive funding should apply by January 15, 2023

The application deadline is January 15, 2023, for those interested in funding. The UD School of Music offers competitive Fellowships, Graduate Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships, and Tuition Scholarships to qualified full-time graduate students. For more information and to apply, click here.
The graduate audition days are Wednesday, January 25 – Saturday, January 28, 2023. Applicants who cannot attend in person have the option to submit a pre-recorded audition.
Admission is based on the number of well-qualified applicants and available space in each faculty. A listing of application materials, audition repertoire, and language requirements for international students can be found here. For questions, please contact [email protected].
In the string department, faculty members include violinists Guillaume Combet, Xiang Gao, violist Elias Goldstein, cellist Lawrence Stomberg, bassist Miles Brown, and the Calidore String Quartet featuring violinists, Jeffrey Myers and Ryan Meehan; violist Jeremy Berry; and cellist Estelle Choi.
For pre-formed string quartets, applications are now open for the University of Delaware's Graduate String Quartet Fellowship, which will work closely with the Calidore String Quartet. Audition requirements can be found here.
