American Tai Murray to Replace Injured Vadim Repin, in Liverpool

It has been announced that American violinist Tai Murray will replace an indisposed Vadim Repin for an upcoming performance of Panufnik's Violin Concerto - with Maestro Vasily Petrenko and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, on Thursday 27th February.

A graduate of the University of Indiana, 31 year old Murray is a 1st prize laureate of the Sphinx Competition - and former recipient of a distinguished Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Repin has withdrawn due to an ongoing shoulder injury. We wish him a speedy recovery.
