American Announced as New Berlin Philharmonic Tutti Violist

The Berlin Philharmonic has today announced the appointment of American violist Allan Nilles to the viola section.

A graduate of the Juilliard School, where he studied with Heidi Castleman and Misha Amory, Allan, aka 'AJ' currently serves as a tutti violist with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra.

He will commence his trial in April of this year.
