Russian-born American cellist James Arkatov has passed away - aged 98

Russian-born American cellist James Arkatov has passed away - aged 98.

Mr Arkatov served as Principal Cellist of the NBC Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony and the Pittsburgh Symphony - and in 1968 was a founding member of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
