A student of Professor Kolja Blacher at the Academy of Music Hans Eisler, in Berlin, Ji-Yoon is a former prize winner at the Leopold Bellan, Lisbon, Wieniawski, Neilsen and Sarasate International Violin Competitions

Joint 2nd Prizes were awarded to Kristi Gjezi from France and Meruert Carmenova from Kazakhstan | 3rd Prize was awarded to Elly Suh from the United States
