What are your hobbies outside of music?
My hobbies are reading books and cooking! I read all the time. But if I read too much, I can't practise, so I decide to only read when I am on the train. I have liked cooking since I started living on my own last August. It is ideal for thinking, as your mind is clearer while cooking.
If you were not a musician, what profession do you feel you’d be doing now?
If I wasn't a musician, I would be a doctor, a firefighter, a clinical psychologist, a counsellor, a police officer, or any other job that helps people. But I haven't decided to become a musician yet, so maybe in five years I will be a firefighter😂!
What would be your dream gig?
I don't know yet, but my current experience of going to many countries on the Wieniawski Competition winners' tour, meeting many artists and playing in front of many audiences is really changing me. And I found that making music with different orchestras, co-artists and conductors was a very interesting experience for me. So I hope I can continue to play on many different stages with many different artists! I also want to be a warm and nice person, even though it has nothing to do with music. I also dream of being a wife and a mother!
What is a song that makes you turn the radio up?
I don't listen to the radio very often, but I like classical music, even if I don't know it, so I am happy when classical music comes on.
What would you say makes you unique as a musician?
I have no idea..... But if I had to say something, it might be that I don't consider myself a musician, for better or worse. I am a music lover who has loved music since I was a child, I like singing and playing the piano (although not well), and the violin just happened to be the means by which I could enjoy music the way I wanted to. That feeling still remains the same today. So I'm more than happy to have met so many great people and to be able to play music with them.
Do you keep all 3 meals phone free? No social media scrolling.
I really want to free the phone when I'm having a meal, but I'm often alone, so I get lonely and eat while watching YouTube.
